This policy explains what personal data Halyt (“we”) collects through halyt.com, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Halyt is a team that designs, builds and runs websites for individuals and small businesses. You can reach us at hello@halyt.com.
What we collect
When you send the “Get your website” form, we receive:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number and preferred contact channel;
- information about your business and your project (business name and type, website type, domain, features, languages, budget, timeline, reference website, your message);
- technical data: the language of the page you used, the page address, campaign tags (UTM) if the link you followed had them, your browser’s user agent, and a one-way keyed hash of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores two small values in your browser only for convenience: whether you dismissed the language suggestion (local storage) and campaign tags for the current visit (session storage).
Why we use it
- To answer your request, prepare a proposal or a demo, and talk to you about your project (steps you asked for).
- To protect the form against spam and abuse (our legitimate interest).
- To keep records of our work with clients (our legitimate interest and legal obligations).
We never sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare - hosting of halyt.com and the Turnstile anti-spam check on the form.
- Render - hosting of our internal dashboard and API.
- Supabase - database where requests are stored.
- Brevo - sending the confirmation email to you and the notification to us.
- Telegram - a short internal alert to our team (without your email or phone number).
These providers may process data outside your country. They act on our instructions and under their own data protection commitments.
How long we keep it
Requests that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. Data about clients is kept for as long as we work together and afterwards as required by accounting and tax law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Write to hello@halyt.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
